Induction of organogenesis and callogenesis in Limbarda crithmoïdes L. (Asteraceae) explants cultured on MS media supplemented with various concentrations of Na+ and K+

چکیده

The present work describes an efficient micropropagation and callus induction protocol of Limbarda crithmoïdes L. (Asteraceae), a halophyte species with medicinal horticultural interests. objective was to identify the culture media that support best organogenesis callogenic expressions four types aerial explants; nodal internodal segments leaf portions, by varying mineral composition twenty adding increasing concentrations Na+ (from 0-100 mM) K+ 0-50 mM). After two months culture, parameters relating various callogenesis were measured. Results showed interactions affect explants development. combination high (50, 100 (50 ions allowed most important regeneration axillary shoots (70.6-100%), root neoformation (82.6-96.1%) (76.3-100%). Rooted plantlets well-developed have been successfully acclimatized 93% survival rate. selected would allow large-scale multiplication this species, without exogenous phytohormones, could be used for other threatened or production callus; rich in secondary metabolites.
